Obituary
On June 2, 2026, our beloved Mom, Grandma, Great-Grandma, and Great-Great Grandma changed her address to Heaven after a long life of service to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Born in Brunswick County, NC, she lived there until she was 20 years old. For the next 40 years she traveled the world supporting her husband’s Naval career after which they returned to Brunswick County.
The daughter of Charles Edward and Rosa Russ Higdon, she was preceded to Heaven by her husband CMDCS Louis Cleveland Bozeman, Ret., USN, her parents, and her seven siblings.
She is survived by her daughter Dr. Pamela L. Bozeman, grandsons Jason and Clayson Stewart, eight great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandson, and extended family members.
No matter where she lived, she was always active in her church, the American Red Cross, and her community. Ms. Frances was a member of Old Shallotte Baptist Church. She will be forever missed by those who knew and loved her.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Monday, June 8, 2026, at 2:00pm in the Brunswick Funeral Service Shallotte Chapel. Following the service Ms. Frances will be laid to rest next to her husband in the Mintz Cemetery in Brunswick County, NC.
The family will recieve friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
