Mrs. Frances Theresa Collins Keough LaMoy, 91, of Sunset Beach, NC died peacefully onApril 4, 2018 after several years of declining health.
She was born May 10, 1926 in Syracuse, NY and graduated from Most Holy Rosary Church High School in 1944. Frances attended St Joseph’s Nursing School and was a Public Health Nurse with the Onondaga County Health Department in Syracuse, NY. Her kindness, gentleness and compassion touched all those she met. She loved to travel and enjoyed learning about the adventures of others. She loved dogs and delighted in their personalities. During her retirement she actively painted, golfed, and gardened.
Frances was a Member of Our Lady of the Star Catholic Church, Myrtle Beach, SC. Frances received holy communion regularly from friend and volunteers, Mary and Jan.
She was Preceded in death by: Her Parents Frank J. Collins and Mary Aughwan Collins of Syracuse, formerly of Roscommon Township, Ireland. Sisters, Kathleen Collins Bailey, Agnes Collins Broader and infant Brother Francis Collins. She was the last surviving member of her family.

Services:
A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial service will be celebrated at Our Lady Star of the Sea Church, North Myrtle Beach, SC, where friends and family may gather to celebrate her life.
A graveside Rite of Committal and burial service will be held at Assumption Cemetery in Syracuse, NY
