Obituary
Frankie Lee Brantley, 79, of Sunset Beach, NC died Thursday, May 25, 2017.
Born in Stanly County, NC on May 19, 1938 he was the son of the late Robert Lee Brantley, Jr. and Mary Lou Eudy Brantley. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his first wife, Elayne Lorraine Brantley and a son, Bart Darin Brantley.
He was a USAF veteran and retired from the Coca-Cola Company as a truck driver. He was a member of Shallotte Masonic Lodge #727 AF&AM and the Oasis Shrine Temple.
Surviving are his wife, Gloria Walker Brantley; daughters, Sharyn “Sissy” Morrison (Randall) of Sunset Beach, NC, Jennifer McCall (James) of Sunset Beach, NC, Pamela Cody (Mark) of Marshall, NC, and Teresa Norris of Charleston, SC; sons, Lee Brantley (John Knox) of Davidson, NC, and Jeffrey Norris (Nancy) of Spring Grove, IL; grandchildren, Isaac, Jacob, Caleb, and Bethany Morrison, and Kody Clontz; great-grandchildren, Sunder, Scout, and Skylar Morrison.
A Celebration of Life will be conducted Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at 3:00 pm in Jennies Branch Baptist Church, where he was an active member, by the Reverend Jonathan Shuler. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services at the church. Masonic rites will be conducted by Shallotte Lodge #727 AF&AM.
