Fritz Claudious Mintz, 86, of Shallotte died July 29, 2017. He was born in Wilmington, NC, on October 4, 1930, to the late Benjamin Mintz and Lavada Kate Sellers Mintz. He was a US Air Force Veteran and lived the majority of his life in Europe. A kind and intelligent man, he was a student of philosophy, and a lover of classical music and opera.
Surviving are his daughter Susan Weber; sisters Betty Williams and Mary Olive Vogles; and fifteen nieces and nephews.
The burial was private.
