Obituary
George Henry Weiser, III of Supply, NC formerly of Bloomingdale, OH passed away at home on January 14, 2022.
He was born in Philadelphia, PA on May 30, 1947 son of the late George Henry Weiser, Jr. and Mildred Malandro Weiser.
He served in the Marine Corps including a tour in Vietnam which was documented by his picture in the National Geographic magazine dated February 1967.
He retired after 30 years with Verizon and then became an independent jeweler.
He enjoyed fishing, NASCAR, showing his vintage autos and designing custom jewelry.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years Georgianne (Georgi) Gabsella; a brother, Paul (Alice) and family and brother, Thomas (Kathleen) and family and the families of Donna and Bruce Eastham, Joni and David Linch, Sherri and Robert Shaffer, Jr., Terri Donato, Edward Kowalski, Robert and Catherine Shepherd, Patricia Gibson, MaryKay Mullavey, James Gibson and Andrew Donato.
Funeral arrangements are being handled by Brunswick Funeral Service of Shallotte, NC and Shorac Funeral Home of Wintersville, OH with a memorial service to be held in the future in Wintersville, OH.
Inurnment will be held in Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
