George M. Bartley
Obituary
George M. Bartley, 92 of Calabash, NC died March 13, 2023.
Born in Burlington, VT on May 20, 1930, he was a son of the late John F. Bartley and Clara Ferris Bartley. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife Mary Anne Fiore Bartley.
He was a U.S. Army Veteran and a retired New York City Police Officer, a member of the American Legion and the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Surviving are daughters, Valerie Balfour (Richard) of Calabash, NC and Elizabeth Eldridge (Boemi) of Manhattan, NY; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, March 21, 2023 at 10:00 am in St. Brendan The Navigator Catholic Church.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Monday, March 20, 2023 in the chapel of Brunswick Funeral Service, Shallotte, NC.
