Obituary
Geraldine L. Risley, 80, of Shallotte died February 25, 2021. Born in Brunswick County on November 17 1940, she was a daughter of John Lancaster and Susie Clemmons Lancaster. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a son, James Kevin Hatcher. She was a Registered Nurse.
Surviving are her husband, Andrew “Andy” Risley; sons, Keith Hatcher (Cinna) of Supply, NC and Greg Risley (Christina) of Minneapolis, MN; daughters, Pamela Hatcher (Shawn VanHulst) of Raleigh, NC, Denise Risley (Will McTarsney) of Beacon, NY, and Cheryl Hughes (Vinnie) of Rockville, MD; fourteen grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
At this time, services will be private. A Celebration of Life will announced at a later date.
