Gilbert Warren Johnson, Jr.

Gilbert Warren Johnson Jr, “Warren” aged 43, passed away on Thursday October 10, 2024, at Seacoast Mcleod Hospital in Little River South Carolina.

He was born on December 1,1980 on an American military base in Germany, to Gilbert Warren Johnson Sr. and Kathryn Ann Johnson.

He worked various jobs in his youth from restaurant work to farm hand; as an adult he became a caretaker to his parents.  Warren was a people person. You could find him chatting up with the cashiers in stores or hanging out at Bike festivals. He was always up for good conversations and good food.

Warren had a tumultuous youth that shaped him into an adult that wanted to help people. He spent his time in recovery and helping others overcome their hardships. He always wanted to help in any way he could and because he was an organ donor he was able to fulfill a final wish.

He was a simple man who enjoyed football with the Philadelphia Eagles being one of his favorite teams, Pro Wrestling, food, and his pets.

He is preceded by his Jack Russell Terrier “Lucky” who passed away a few weeks before Warren. He is survived by his parents, Gilbert and Kathy Johnson and his twin sisters Kristine and Michele Johnson who live in Sunset Beach, North Carolina. He had aunts, uncles, and cousins in Missouri and New Jersey.

Family, friends, and others are invited to the Emmanuel Outreach Church, from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. on October 26, 2024, to celebrate the life of Gilbert Warren Johnson Jr.
