Obituary
Gloria Joan Schwabenland Leight passed away in her sleep Thursday morning on September 15, 2016 at nearly 91 years of age. Her passing was peaceful and painless. She was born in New York NY on October 3, 1925. She lived in her Sunset Beach residence for twenty-seven years.
Mother of Linda D. Leight Pazillo, now deceased, and survived by her son, Lawrence W. Leight Jr., his wife Karen. Survived also by her grandchildren, Lawrence W. Leight III, Joel Leight, Kyle Leight, and Melissa DeWolfe, their spouses, and 9 great grandchildren.
Her wishes were to be cremated and interred at the St. James Episcopal Church of Shallotte, NC next to her husband L. Wesley Leight Sr.
The family will be holding a private interment and funeral reception on a future date.
