Obituary
Grantlyn Ray Caulder, 56, of Shallotte, passed away on Saturday, August 5, 2017.
Grant was born on October 13, 1960 in Laurinburg. He was preceded in death by his father Hubert Caulder and his sister Gwendolyn Caulder.
Grant was the co-owner of Brunswick Travel. He was a member of the Jaycee’s Club, as well as charter member of the Harley Davidson Beach House. He held 3 state titles for Power Lifting, one of which has never been broken. Grant spent 23 years with Progress Energy and 12 with Brunswick Electric. Grant was a world traveler and food critic.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife Kimberly; mother, Victoria Pratt Ward, Godson, Michael Ricketson of Cumming, GA; and a brother, Charles Allan Caulder and wife Mikki of Laurinburg.
A funeral service will be on Thursday, August 10, 2017 at 3pm in Brunswick Funeral Service Chapel, Shallotte. Interment will be at Southern Palms Memorial Gardens in North Myrtle Beach. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Wednesday, August 9, 2017 from 6 to 8pm.
