Gregory A. Neff, 63, of Ocean Isle Beach, NC passed away suddenly and unexpectedly Wednesday, August 30, 2023, at McLeod/Seacoast Medical Center, Little River, SC.

He was born October 31, 1959, in Palmerton, PA and was the son of Janet R. Neff and the late Allen C. Neff. He grew up in Davidsonville, MD and lived most of his life in MD till 2018 when he moved to Ocean Isle Beach to be with his elderly mother.

Surviving are a daughter, Heather L. Neff; his mother, Janet R. Neff; two grandchildren, Landon and Jett Glorius; and a nephew, James L. Aisquith, Jr. He also leaves an aunt, Eleanor Drumbore and several cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father, Allen, as well as his sister and brother-in-law, Terri and James Aisquith.

Greg had many interests in life, was always researching something and loved the outdoors. In his younger days, he was an avid hunter, loved time out in the woods hunting deer and turkeys. He enjoyed sports, particularly football and was anxiously looking forward to a new season this fall.

Prior to his retirement in 2018, he was employed as a Mechanical Engineer at a major bakery in Baltimore, MD.

There will be a Memorial Service at St. Luke Lutheran Church, 5869 Ocean Highway West, Ocean Isle Beach, NC 28469 on October 20, 2023 at 11:00 am.

Funeral will be private.
