Obituary
Harvey Elmer Etheridge, 82, of Crusoe died November 11, 2018. He was the last survivor of eight children born to Harvey J. Etheridge and Lawrence Elizabeth Long Etheridge. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Roscoe, Rowe, Henry, Thomas and sisters, Alda Sarvis, Odie Long, and Ruby Long. Elmer was the long-time caregiver to his mother who passed away at the age of 102.
Elmer and his brother Thomas both meticulous carpenters, built many homes in their Crusoe Neighborhood. He also maintained the Etheridge Cemetery.
He is survived by twenty-nine loving nieces and nephews.
Services will be conducted from the graveside in Etheridge Cemetery at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, November 14.
Casket bearers will be Ricky Long, Danny Long, Raymond Long, Michael Varney, Timmy Gore, and James Garner.
