Hazel Margaret Simpson, 86, of Ocean Isle Beach, NC, died May 20, 2026. She was born in Shreveport, LA on June 13, 1939, to the late John Ross Vines and Willie Dee Sweet Vines. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husbands, Carroll Wade Lenard and James Dudley “Jimmy” Simpson, Jr.
She was a retired real estate agent in Brunswick County for many years.
Surviving are her sons, Christopher “Chris” Lenard and Mark Lenard; daughter, Diane Lenard Pieri (Harry); and three grandchildren, Corbett, Callie, and Costantinos.
