Helen Jane Bennett, 83, Shallotte, NC died February 2, 2022.
Born in Brunswick County, NC on January 29, 1939, a daughter of the late William Gore and Edna Pigott Gore.
She was a retired childcare provider and bookkeeper.
Surviving are her husband Gene Allen Bennett, Sr.; sons, Gene A. Bennett, Jr., Ft. Lauderdale, FL and Christopher “Chris” Bennett, Shallotte, NC; brother, Donald Gore (Wanda), Shallotte, NC; Doris Ross and Geraldine Milliken both of Shallotte, NC and Patsy Pittard, Bolivia, NC; grandchildren, Ryan Bennett, Tonda Bennett, Carissa Bennett and Bryan Bennett; great-grandchildren Mateo Florian, Tanner Aaron, Merrick Bennett, Fiona Bennett and Devilyn Bennett.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 pm Sunday, February 6, 2022 in the Brunswick Funeral Service Chapel. Burial will follow in Brunswick Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
