Henrietta (Heni) Kelso Moulton, passed away on Saturday morning December 23rd at home with all of her children present. She was born August 5, 1924 as the oldest daughter of Samuel Kennedy Kelso and Mary Elizabeth Boyd in Ardmore, Pa. She was trained as a nurse and became an Army Cadet Nurse during World War II. She was one of the founding members of the Paramus Congregational Church in Paramus, NJ.

Heni was married to Guy for 63 years and is survived by their children; Gay her husband Keith and their children Amanda; Dylan, his wife Stefani and Dean; Suzanne her husband Kevin and their children Shane, his wife Marissa a great granddaughter Kinsley, daughter Carly and her husband Joey. Their son Peter his wife Jean and their daughters, Aislin and Lauren and a beloved niece, Debra Wineger . She was also preceded in death by their son Thomas.

Heni lived a life of service; from serving as an Army Cadet Nurse, to singing in the church choir for over 20 years, volunteer ambulance service, CSI thrift shop in Sunset Beach and the Brunswick County Free Clinic.

Aside from the pleasure she got from donating her time, Heni enjoyed many other facets of life such as being with her friends, Sunday morning breakfast at Magnolias, Garden club, being an auctioneer for charity for over 10 years, and also enjoyed acting in many Sea Trail productions. She will be best remembered for her iconic portrayal of Elvis Presley. But most of all Heni loved golf. Heni played competitive golf well into her late 80s and was one of the founding members of the “Golden Girls.” She loved going out to dinner with friends, who became more than friends, they became family. If she was able and there was a party, she was there. Guy began the tradition of the Progressive Dinner in Sea Trails and with the help of her dearest friend Bill Miller, she continued it.

Heni loved living in Sea Trails and the life she led for over 27 years. She was a strong willed woman who showed her family and friends what real strength was as her physical health declined. She refused to give into pain and pushed herself to remain involved in the lives of her family and friends. Heni lived a life worth living and will be missed by many. Cheers Heni!
