Obituary
Henry Joseph LaRochelle, 76, of Oak Island passed away October 27, 2018 after a brief illness. He was born in Worcester, MA, on October 2, 1942 to Ephrem LaRochelle and Yvette Prunier LaRochelle.
He and the love of his life, Kathleen Aldrich LaRochelle, recently celebrated their fifty-fifth wedding anniversary. Together they raised four children and traveled around the world with his job as a mechanical engineer for General Electric Company. After retirement to Oak Island, he pursued his love of golf and oil painting, but there was nothing of greater importance to him than his family.
In addition to his wife, Kathleen M. LaRochelle, he is survived by sons, William Scott LaRochelle (Dana) and Eric Todd LaRochelle (Cindy); daughters, Mary Ellen LaRochelle and Rachel Louise Nance (Keith); brother, Raymond LaRochelle; sisters, Judith Roy (Joseph) and Anne-Marie Nicolai (Paul). Additionally, he is the adored grandfather of Nora Marie Berger and Henry James Nance.
