SUNSET BEACH, NC - Henry Kapfer Holland, Jr. of Sunset Beach, died Wednesday, August 16, 2023, at Brightwater Skilled Nursing Center of Myrtle Beach, SC.
Henry was born October 19, 1941, in Washington, DC, to Henry and Kathleen McInerney Holland. He was a US Marine Corps veteran. Henry was a proud graduate of Georgetown University and served the US Government as an accountant/auditor where he retired after more than 30 years. Henry enjoyed bringing joy to others with his Clowning Ministry and is part of the Ronald McDonald Clowning Hall of Fame, for his service to the children of Ronald McDonald House in the Washington, D.C. area. Henry had been active at St. Brendan’s Catholic Church for several years but recently had been attending Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church in North Myrtle Beach.
A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, August 22, 2023, at 11:00 AM at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church, North Mrytle Beach, SC with burial to follow in Brunswick Memorial Gardens, Shallotte, NC.
