Obituary
Hilda Mae Milliken, age 78, of Village Point passed away on Thursday May 16, 2019 surrounded by her loving family.
Hilda was born in Brunswick County on November 3, 1940 the daughter of the late, Beamon Brown Milligan and Pearlie Carlisle Milligan. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Emerson Milliken, Sr. and also was preceded in death by two grandchildren, Joseph Milliken and Jordan Milliken; two brothers and nine sisters.
Hilda was a member of Mt. Carmel Pentecostal Freewill Baptist Church. She will be greatly missed.
Surviving are a daughter, Patty Milliken and Fiancé Walter Zimmerli; a son, John Emerson Milliken, Jr. and wife, Leigh Ann all of Shallotte; seven grandchildren, Devan Grimes, (Eric Cartrette), Jade Milliken, Jenna Milliken, James Kohler, Jr. Jonathen Kohler, Cody Kohler and Cassie Kohler;one great-grandchild, Haley Morgan Grimes; five nieces, Judy Sheppard, Kay Ferguson, Shelly Cheers, Belinda Sholar and Regina Carroll; also a host of many other family and friends.
