Born in West Jefferson, NC on March 4, 1949, she was a daughter of the late Toy Ray Dishman and Lena Dare Trivett Dishman.
Surviving are her husband, David Steiner; daughters, Amanda Cutts, Hudson, NC and Angela Fountleroy, Fayetteville, NC; brothers, Johnny Dishman, Lenoir, NC and Paul Dishman, Hudson, NC; sister, Madge Cornett, Toledo, OH; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
