Obituary
Ivan Yanez was born on April 25, 2000, in Wilmington, North Carolina. He was the beloved son of Gaudencio Yanez and Artemia Arellano and a loving brother to Jacqueline Yanez and Yamileth Yanez. He was also cherished by a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Ivan was a sweet and caring young man, full of love. He had a special way of making everyone around him feel loved, and his presence brought light into the lives of his family and everyone who knew him. His love, his smile, and the beautiful memories he created will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved him.
Ivan was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Santos Cruz; his paternal grandfather, Martin Yanez; and his beloved cousin, Yesica Campos.
Though his time with us was far too short, Ivan’s memory will live on through his family, the love he shared, and the countless memories he leaves behind. He will be deeply missed and forever loved.
