Obituary
Jack Richard Chambers, 78, of Wilmington, NC formerly of Shallotte, NC died Saturday, February 1, 2025.
Jack was born in Brunswick County, NC on May 1, 1946, the son of the late Leff Ellis Chambers and Mable Tatum Chambers Redwine.
He was a 1964 graduate of Shallotte High School. Prior to retirement he was employed by AT&T, Bell South and Bell Communications.
Surviving are his wife Janex Oxendine Chambers; son Michael Alan Chambers; sister Harriett Brown (Darren); grandchildren Nicholas Patrick Chambers, Elise Brooke Chambers and Grace Naomi Chambers.
Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, February 7, 2025, at 3:00PM in the Brunswick Funeral Service Shallotte Chapel. Burial will follow in the Chapel Hill Cemetery, Shallotte, NC.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
