Obituary
James Daniel Simmons, 62, of Ash passed away on Thursday, October 5, 2017.
James was born on July 22, 1954 to the late James and Betty Simmons. He is also predeceased by his brother Johnny Simmons.
James graduated from West Brunswick High School and went on to become a welder. He loved his family and friends. He will be missed dearly.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife, Sue; son, Christopher Mauropaus of Montana; daughters Maria Clever of Fayetteville, Kelly Simmons of Virginia; brothers, Larry Simmons, Wayne Simmons, Bobby Simmons and wife Sandra all of Ash; grandchildren, Zoe and Aiden Clever.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, October 8, 2017 at 2pm in Brunswick Funeral Service Chapel, Shallotte.
