Obituary
James Edward Robinson, Jr., 77, of Burlington, NC formerly of Shallotte, NC died Monday, February 5, 2024.
Born in Guilford County, NC on January 4, 1947, a son of the late James E. Robinson, Sr., and Elma Ruth Burnside Robinson. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife Evelyn Kirkman Robinson.
He was a U.S. Army veteran and retired from the U.S. Postal Service.
Surviving is his sons Jeffrey Robinson, of Mt. Airy, NC and Jamie Robinson, of Raleigh, NC; daughters Cynthia Robinson and Janice Robinson both of Ocean Isle Beach, NC; sisters Brenda Andrews, of Burlington, NC and Sylvia Ellis, of Summerville, NC; brothers Terry Robinson, of Greensboro, NC and Dennis Robinson, of King, NC; four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, February 10, 2024, at 3pm in the Brunswick Funeral Service Chapel Shallotte. Burial will follow in the Brunswick Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
