James William Healy, 67, of Wilmington, NC died Sunday, July 2, 2023.
Born in Huntington, WV on May 19, 1956, a son of the late William Joseph Healy, Jr. and Charlotte Seyler Healy.
He was a U.S. Air Force veteran and attended the U.S. Coast Guard Academy. He was also an avid golfer and a member of the Moose Lodge.
Surviving are his sisters, Mary Godfrey (Don), Ocean Isle Beach, NC, Terri Fortin (Doug), Hingham, MA, Kathy Best (Jeffrey), Allison Park, PA; brothers Michael Healy (Maureen), Clifton Park, NY, John Hurst, III (Linda), South Bend, IN, Jeffrey Hurst, Bonita Springs, FL; James Hurst, Tampa, FL; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Friday, August 4, 2023, from 5:00-7:00 PM at Brunswick Funeral Service, Shallotte, NC. Military Honors will be given at 6:00 PM that evening.
