Jane Pietras, 64, of Shallotte, passed away on January 22, 2018, after an illness.
She was born on September 6, 1953 in Ridgeway, New Jersey, to the late Cornelius DeVoggd and Mary Louise Patten DeVoggd. She was a retired system programmer. She moved to Shallotte three years ago where she was a volunteer at Cattails and Ocean Isle Beach Turtle Rescue.
She is survived by her loving husband of thirty-nine years, Charles Pietras; brother, Peter DeVoggd of Colorado; and sisters, Lois Plante (Dale) of Arizona, Mairlyn Carpenter (Lee) of Colorado, and Helen Novak of Florida.
