Obituary
Janette B. Cushman, 81 Ocean Isle Beach, NC died July 6, 2019.
She was born in Graniteville, SC on September 26, 1937, the daughter of the late Ira Burckhalter and Louise Talbert Burckhalter. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Michael Cushman, and a grandson, Daniel Cushman.
Surviving are her husband, Ramie E. Cushman; daughters, Susan James (Gregory), Wilmington, NC, and Lori Ferguson (Matthew), Bybee, TN; grandchildren, Amy, Jacob, Rachel, Katie, Joshua, Sarah, Zachary, and Hannah; great grandchildren, Oliver, Harrison, and Grayson.
A Celebration of Life will be conducted on Thursday, July 11, 2019 at 2:00 pm in Camp United Methodist Church. Inurnment will be in the church columbarium.
Memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society, 2202 Wrightsville Avenue, Suite 111, Wilmington, NC 28403 and/or the SECU Hospice “Brunswick House”, 1414 Physician’s Drive, Wilmington, NC 28401.
