Obituary
Jean Todd Christensen, 89, of Shallotte, passed away May 7, 2017. She was the last survivor of thirteen children born to James Edward Todd and Emma Waters Todd in Savannah, Georgia. She moved to Shallotte from Fredericksburg, Virginia, where she is remembered for her many years of volunteer work at Mary Washington Hospital. She was a member of Unity Church in Fredericksburg and a buyer for J. C. Penny Company.
She is survived by daughters, Stephanie Woodson (Mike) and Margaret Christensen; and grandsons, Todd Nerdahl (Shawna), Scott Nerdahl, and Bryant Nerdahl, all of North Carolina.
A private family service will be conducted in Savannah.
