In Loving Memory of Jeffrey Phillip Sheppard

Jeffrey Phillip Sheppard, 62, of Shallotte, North Carolina, passed away on October 23, 2026, leaving behind a family who loved him more than words can say.

Jeffrey was a one-of-a-kind man. He was stubborn, hardheaded, and set in his ways, but beneath that tough exterior was a heart filled with love for the people who mattered most to him. He was his own person, never afraid to be himself, and those who knew him knew there was a whole lot of love behind that strong personality.

Jeffrey loved working, racing cars, riding four wheelers, listening to music, and, most of all, spending time with family and friends. He believed in God, and his faith brought meaning to his life. He may not have always said everything that was in his heart, but the love he had for his family was there in his own way.

He leaves behind his beloved wife, Crystal Sheppard; his sister, Kim Knox, and her husband, Larry Knox; brother Greg Sheppard, sister Sheri Day, his children, Chris Sheppard and his wife, Lea, Josh Kennedy, and Natasha Daniels; and his cherished grandchildren, Haven, Patrick, Nowell, and Waylon, and numerous nieces and nephews who will forever be part of his legacy.

He was preceded in death by his parents David P. Sheppard and Patricia Hill

Jeffrey wasn't perfect, and he never pretended to be. He was stubborn, hardheaded, and wonderfully himself. But he loved deeply, and the people he loved will carry a piece of him in their hearts forever.

Rest easy, Jeffrey You were loved for exactly who you were, you will be missed more than you'll ever know, and you will never be forgotten. May God welcome you home and keep you in His loving arms until we meet again.

A Celebration of Life service will be conducted on November 28, 2026, at 1:00PM in the Harvest Fellowship Pentecostal Church, 438 Gray Bridge Rd SW, Shallotte, NC  28470.

The family will receive friends at the church at 12:00 Noon.
