Obituary
Jerry Thomas Mason, 82, of Supply, NC passed away on March 13, 2026. Jerry was born on March 3, 1944 in Louisville, KY to the late Carroll J. Mason and Dorothy Keown Mason. In addition to his parents, Jerry was predeceased by his sisters Leslie M. Medlock and Vicki M. Weaver.
He was a veteran of the US Navy, a graduate of Troy University, and enjoyed a long career in the nuclear and fossil industry as a Scheduler. He enjoyed many days spent fishing and playing golf.
Family left to remember and miss him are his wife of almost 40 years, Carol Dean Smith Mason, children Greg Mason (Sabrina), Tony Mason, Chrissie M. Poindexter (Steve), Vicki C. Buffkin, Matthew Corbett, and Adam Corbett; sisters Toni M. Scott (Billy) and Wendi M. Tilden (David); grandchildren Michael and Adriana Mason, Ashleigh, Stephen, and Ryan Poindexter, Jennifer B. Strickland (John), Josh Buffkin (Kristen), Jonathan Buffkin (Lindsey), Alden Corbett, and River Corbett and nine great grandchildren.
A celebration of Jerry’s life will be on Saturday, March 21, 2026 from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm at the residence 611 Stone Chimney Road, Supply, NC
