Jerry Thomas Mason, 82, of Supply, North Carolina, died March 13, 2026. He was born in Louisville, KY, on March 3, 1944, to Carroll Jerome Mason and Dorothy Keawn Mason. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by two sisters, Leslie M. Medloele and Vicki M. Weaver.
He was a US Navy Veteran and had retired from CP&L Power Plant, Southport, NC, as an engineer. He was an avid fisherman.
Surviving are his wife of forty plus years, Carol Dean Smith Mason; children, Greg Mason (Sabrina, mother of his children); Tony Mason, Christine Poindexter (Steven), Vicki Buffkin; Matthew Corbett and Adam Corbett; two sisters, Toni M. Scott (Billy) and Wendi M. Tiden (David); grandchildren, Michael and Adarina Mason, Ashley, Steven, and Ryan Poindexter, Jennifer Strickland, Josh Buffkin, Alden Corbett, Jonathan Corbett and River Corbett; and nine great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be conducted from 2:00 PM-4:00 PM, Saturday, March 20, 2026, at the residence 611 Stone Chimney Road, Supply, NC.
