Jessie Marie Bowen of Shallotte, NC passed away peacefully on March 7^th, 2022. She was born on January 29^th, 1930, to Cromwell and Jessie Small of Nichols, SC. She attended Williams Township School and graduated in 1947. She worked as a seamstress at a local sewing factory in Shallotte, NC. Her friends and family remember her having a strong faith in God and being an avid churchgoer her entire life.

She was the mother of two boys, Larry Gregory Bowen and Barry Ricky Bowen of Shallotte, NC. She is survived by three grandchildren, Larry Keith Bowen (Hope), Jody Brian Bowen and Kimberly Ann Bowen-Francisco. She is also survived by six great grandchildren, Christen Michelle Bowen, Anna Olivia Bowen, Ian Gregory Bowen, Haleigh Summer Bowen, Maryssa Francisco, and Trevor Francisco.

The funeral will be held at Brunswick Funeral Service, Shallotte Chapel, on Thursday March 10^th. Visitation will begin at 10:00am and be immediately followed by the funeral service at 11:00am. Timothy Clemmons, Kelly Fulford, Chad Gray, Ian Bowen, TJ Kaishian, and Trevor Francisco will serve as pallbearers. She will be laid to rest in Brunswick Memorial Gardens.
