Obituary
Jimmy Grey Watson, 82, Shallotte, NC died on January 29, 2025.
Born in Columbus County, NC on July 8, 1942, he was a son of the late Elmore Glen Watson and Minnie Anderson Watson. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Bud Watson and sisters, Carrie Jackson and Belle Long.
He was retired from Duke Power as an electrician. He was a member of the National Rifle Association and an avid outdoorsman as well as a master knife sharpener.
Surviving are his wife Patricia “Pat” Roycroft Watson; a son, Tony Watson and wife Leslie.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday, February 3, 2025 at 2:00 pm in Calvary Baptist Church where he was an active member. Burial will follow in Brunswick Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to services at the church.
