Obituary
JoAnn P. Adams, 65, of Calabash, NC passed away May 23rd peacefully, in the presence of her loving Husband and daughter.
JoAnn was born in Hicksville, NY, May 11th 1956; She was the loving daughter of John R. Parker and Geraldine Parker, who preceded her in death.
JoAnn graduated from Hunterdon Central High School, class of 1974. She was married to the love of her life, William Adams Jr., for 42 wonderful years, June 16th 1979.
JoAnn was survived by her devoted and loving husband William Adams, daughter Heather Lynn Adams and spouse Nikolai of Charleston SC, and Grandson Lukas Adams.
JoAnn had a love for the beach, which led the her and her husband’s relocation to Calabash, NC, as it was always her dream to live by the ocean.
Anyone who knew JoAnn knew she could light up a room with her smile. JoAnn was known for her loving, kind, and compassionate spirit. Holidays and family gatherings were always very special times for her. She will be greatly missed, and has touched the lives of so many.
There will be a Celebration of Life in the coming weeks to be announced by her Husband and Daughter.
