Obituary
John Robert “Bob” Ford, II, 69, of Shallotte passed away September 2, 2018. He was born in Fayetteville, NC on October 30, 1948, a son of John Robert Ford, Sr. and Mildred Johnson Barefoot. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son, John Robert Ford, III and a daughter, Terri Lynn Sykes. He was a Master Mason and a graduate of UNC-Chapel Hill.
Surviving are his wife, Carolyn “Lynn” Harris Ford; daughters, Amy Childers, Tracy Ann Sykes and Anita Dianne Beatty; son, Michael Sykes; and grandchildren, Liam O’Connell, Caleb and Nolan Childers, Bethany, Summer, and Logan Sykes; and family-in-love, Rex, Eva and Casey King.
Friends and family are invited to a time of visitation at 11:00 AM, Friday, September 7, at the funeral home.
Interment will follow in Brunswick Memorial Gardens.
