John Robert Sabella, 89, of Supply passed away Wednesday, November 7, 2018.
He was born in Manhattan, served in the US Air Force, retired from United Technology as director of pricing and proposal operations before moving to North Carolina. In addition to his parents, Anthony Sabella and Mable Thomson Sabella, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Frances Sabella and a step-son, William Motta.
He is survived by his wife of thirty-five years, Maria Caruana Sabella; sons, Anthony Sabella of CT, and John Sabella of Shallotte, NC; daughter, Donna Dvornek of CT; stepson, James Motta and wife Kaori of Laurel, MD; step-daughter, Diane Cunha and husband Joao P of Virginia; sister, Frances Kranich of MA; and seven adored grandchildren.
Funeral Mass will be at 9:00 AM, Monday, November 12, at St. Brendan The Navigator Catholic Church. Inurnment will be in New York.
