John Wendell Inglis, 31, of Currie, formerly of Oak Island, died unexpectedly at his home on February 11, 2017. He was born November 12, 1985 and was the son of the late Lori Ann Busby, the grandson of the late Bill Busby and Pat Busby Drummond all of Oak Island.
John was a young man of honesty and loyalty to family and friends that he loved dearly. John spent four years in the Navy in Norfolk, VA. He loved music and was an amazing drummer. His talents and beautiful smile and humor will be missed.
He leaves behind his loving fiancee, Kiha Eppley, and her son Jr Morgan of Currie; his aunt, Linda and Uncle Erick Castro of Southport; brother, Mark Pennsmith of Florida; stepbrother, Adam West formerly of Wimington, NC; cousins Kara Haney Sullivan of OI, Bari Shelton of Greensboro, Micki Shelton of Texas, and many friends he loved.
Services will be private.
