John William Ingram, IV
Obituary
John William Ingram, IV, died December 27, 2025. Born on March 4, 1946, he was the son of the late Lois Rhuvene Tison Ingram and John William Ingram, lll. He was preceded in death by a son, Shawn Ingram.
Billy grew up in Ash, North Carolina, on the family farm bordered on one side by the Waccamaw River. After graduating from Waccamaw High School in 1964, he worked briefly with Brunswick County before returning to farming on the land he loved. In his later years, he and his wife, Katherine, were known for growing delicious strawberries.
In addition to his wife, Katherine, he is survived by sons, John William Ingram, V, (Michelle), and Sean Ingram; daughter, Suzanne Smith (Chris); and grandchildren, Grant, John (Kelly), Colby (Morgan), Logan, Zachary (Megan), and Hailey (Aaron); seven great grandchildren; and special friend, Herbie Ward.
Private services will be conducted in the Ingram Cemetery on the Ingram Farm.
