Jonathan Harold Davis, of Bolivia, NC, passed away unexpectedly on May 11, 2026. Jonathan was only 47 years old. Our family is devastated and shocked by this loss. Jon was born on October 23, 1978 in Rochester, NY to parents Jonathan W. Davis and Donna Arnold.

In 2004, Jon met Christina, and they wed on June 9, 2007. They had 3 children Brandon Jensen, Aliyah Jane and Mariah Jonay. Jon had 2 brothers; Billyjoe Arnold & Daniel (Amanda) Randall along with 3 sisters; Jonnetta Davis of CA, Modesty Ogdenski and Jada Davis. He had many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles both in the US and Bahamas. Jon was predeceased by his father Jonathan, both his mother in law and father in law, Patti & Howard Salleby.

Jon was the proud and successful owner and founder of Raider Hauling and Transport, later to be named Davis Hauling and Transport Services LLC. Establishing his own company with his daughters gave Jon a great amount of joy and pride and it was something he worked hard at, each and every day. On top of running his own business, Jon also worked a full time job at Amyris in Leland, NC. He previously worked for GFL, Crete Solutions and LiDestri Foods in Rochester, NY, where he made many friends.

Jon was a lifelong Raiders fan. From Oakland, Los Angeles and Las Vegas, he supported and cheered them on for his entire 47 years. He wrote blogs about the Raiders and was an active member of the Raider Nation Rochester for many years until he moved to North Carolina in 2018. Jon also enjoyed fishing, boating, gaming with his friends, grilling and most of all, time with people. He made friends wherever he went with his infectious laugh and horrible jokes.

We are planning ONE service for Jon. It will be 5/30/26 in Southport NC at Generations Church 4019 Southport Supply Rd. Southport NC. (times will be posted early this week). 

There are a handful of Hotels in the area you can make arrangements at if you are planning on attending. The family will not be hosting any friends or relatives in the home.
