Junior Connie “J.C.” Wood, age 86, of Shallotte died July 12, 2019. He was born in Randolph County, NC on May 8, 1932, a son of Connie Floyd Wood and Gracie Lillian White Wood. He was owner of Wood Mobile Home Park in Asheboro. He served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Jessie Lucille McLean Wood on July 13, 2014.
Surviving are his son Anthony Wood of Asheboro, NC; brother, Gary W. Wood of Greensboro; five grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
Services will be held in Asheboro, NC.
