On the afternoon of February 14, 2022, Katheryn Barbara Hare passed at the age of 73 in Calabash, NC. She was one day shy of her 74th birthday. Katheryn was born in Baltimore, MD on February 15, 1948 to Fannie P. Decker and George Sauerhoff; her siblings, Margaret (Deceased), Bernard (Deceased), Libby (Deceased), Ruthie, Marlene, Carol, Barbara, Georgeanne.
Katheryn was married to George Rothenhoefer (Deceased in 1988) and William Hare (Present).
Katheryn loved life. She was known for her good sense of humor and her contagious laughter among her friends. She enjoyed helping others and had a positive outlook on everything. She left behind her loving husband, William; four children; George, David, Stephen and Dawn; ten grandchildren and five great grandchildren and many that she has touched.

A funeral service will be conducted Saturday, February 19, 2022 at 3:30 pm in the chapel of Brunswick Funeral Service.
Family will receive friends one hour prior.
