It is with great sadness that the family of Kim Rashelle Davis announces her passing. Kim was a friend to all who knew her and will be lovingly remembered and missed by so many. She was a Christian who loved the Lord and enjoyed listening to and singing popular Christian music. She was the daughter of the late Jimmy Dale Davis and Lillie Bland Davis. Born in Myrtle Beach, SC July 5, 1976 and raised in Calabash, NC she spent a lot of her childhood on her family's shrimp boat the Jehovah Jireh.  

 Throughout her life she held many beauty pageant titles including Little Miss Brunswick County, Junior Miss Brunswick County, Miss CInderella Christmas, and several others but no title could hold a candle to her kind heart and infectious spirit. She was educated in the Brunswick County School system, an honor student, and was in the class of 1994 from West Brunswick High School. She later went on to work in the customer service industry as a server at several restaurants in Calabash. Kim then decided to pursue a career in the airline industry with AirSouth.  She was in customer service and advanced rapidly in the company. She was a valued employee who earned many promotions and awards within the industry.  

Kim was preceded in death by her father Jimmy Dale Davis and is survived by her mother Lillie Bland Davis, her brother Sam Davis (Michelle) of Calabash, and three nephews Chandler Davis of Ohio, Stone and Jamie Davis of Calabash, NC, and aunts Wanda Simmons (Ralph) of Evergreen, NC, Margie Gurganus of Raleigh, and Patsy Hughes of Florida, as well as many cousins.  

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM, Tuesday, May 25, by The Rev. John Chase at Beach Assembly of God Church, 20 Bliss Road, NW, Ocean Isle Beach. The family will receive friends from 12:00 Noon until 1:00 PM.
