Obituary
Laura Kathryn (Kathy) Wilson Semanko entered eternal life to be with her Lord and Savior on March 31, 2022. She was the daughter of William and Muriel Guy Wilson. Kathy was born on April 12, 1944 in Hyattsville, MD. She was married to her loving husband Jack for over twenty-nine years. Kathy graduated from Warren County Virginia High School in 1962. She graduated from Medical College of Virginia with a degree as a Radiology Technician and later with a BS in Healthcare Management from Elizabethtown College in Pennsylvania. Kathy retired from Harrisburg Hospital in Pennsylvania as the Director of Radiology.
Kathy was preceded in death by her parents and her stepfather Ray Thomas.
Her life was dedicated to her Catholic Faith, to her husband Jack, to playing golf, domestic and international travel and she was an avid reader.
Kathy is survived by her husband Jack, her brother-in-law Joe Semanko and wife Kathy M., her sister-in-law Ginny Camplese, eight nephews, five nieces, five great nephews and four great nieces.
A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Brendan the Navigator Catholic Church on April 11, 2022 at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow in the church columbarium. The family will receive friends at the church for one hour prior to the service.
No flowers, but a memorial contribution can be made to St. Brendan the Navigator Roman Catholic Church Building Fund, 5101 Ocean Highway, West, Shallotte, NC 28470.
