Laurie A. Malcolm of Calabash, NC and Formerly of Montrose, NY passed away peacefully on Tuesday June 7, 2021 at the Hospice House in Boliva, NC with her family by her side, following a courageous battle with Lung Cancer. She was 68. Born on August 22, 1952 Laurie was the daughter of the late Anthony N. Rocano & Doris A. Rocano. She grew up in Montrose NY and attended and graduated Hendrick Hudson High school.
Laurie was an active person that dedicated her time to charity, exercise, gardening, crafting and spending time with her husband, children and grandchildren.
Laurie is survived by her loving husband of over 25 years: Ronald F Malcolm at home; her daughter: Lisa Chiulli and husband John of Southport, NC; her grandchildren: Thomas, William and Jacob; her son John Hayes and wife Sandra of Albuquerque, NM; her grandson: Caleb; Her Son Anthony Hayes and wife Melissa of Cornwall, NY; grandchildren: Dylan and Alana: and her Sister Toni L. Reilly and Husband Phil.
Mass services will be held on Tuesday June 15, 2021 10am at St Brendan’s Catholic Church 5101 Ocean Hwy W, Shallotte North Carolina. In lieu of Flowers the Family would like donations made to Lower Cape Fear Life Care. If you wish to make a donation please visit https://lifecare.org/donation
