Leanna Louise Burnham

Leanna L. (Guerette) Burnham passed away at her home in North Carolina on June 9th. She was born in Bath, Maine on May 8th, 1943 to Frances (Peters) and Napoleon Guerette. Leanna lived most of her life in Bath. She moved to Kennebunk with her husband Russ in 1994 where she lived until they retired to North Carolina in 2017.

She is survived by her husband Russell Burnham of North Carolina, children Lisa Rhinehart and husband Jeff of Clarksville,TN, Linda Foley of Lubec, ME and Nancy Grant of Hampton Beach, NH, step sons Russell Burnham, Jr. and Stephen Burnham both of Georgia, grandchildren Erica Rawls, Brian Winfrey, Trevor Kendall and Max Kendall and 2 great grandchildren as well as her brother John Guerette of Woolwich, ME and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

A celebration of her life will be held at The Winter Street Church 800 Washington St. Bath on Saturday August 25th from 1:00 to 3:00 PM. Light refreshments will be served.

In lieu of flowers please send donations in her name to The Patten Free Library in Bath or the Animal Welfare Society in West Kennebunk.
