Leon Noorigian, 96, Carolina Shores, NC died November 13, 2021.
Born in Newark, NJ on July 4, 1925, the son of the late Mirhan Noorigian and Victoria Gamarekian Noorigian.
He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps and a retired firefighter. After moving to the Carolina Shores area, he was employed by Sunset Beach ABC Board. He was a member of the VFW, American Legion and the Elk’s Lodge.
Surviving are his wife, Mary Lillian Polizzotti Noorigian; son Aram Noorigian (Trina), Carolina Shores, NC; daughters, Marion Marti (Edwin), Sunset Beach, NC and Debra Butler, Carolina Shores, NC; grandchildren, Edwin Marti, Jr.,Michael Marti and Brooke Butler; great grandchild, Noah Marti.
Services will be conducted Friday, November 19, 2021 at 2:00 pm in Brunswick Memorial Gardens.
