Obituary
LeRoy Robert Wetjen, 90, of Calabash, NC, died October 20, 2023. Born in Keyport, NJ on April 7, 1933, he was a son of the late Walter C. Wetjen and Anna Sideler Wetjen. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a daughter, Deborah Fiore and siblings Anna Mae Widmaier, Walter Wetjen, John Wetjen, William Wetjen, and Dorothy Hewlett.
He was the retired owner and operator of an electrical contracting company, a veteran of the US Navy, and a former member of Lion’s International.
Surviving are his wife, Roseann Prusik Wetjen; son, Robert Allan Wetjen (Angela); daughter, Kelly Mitchell; sisters, Edith Mathis and Carole Audley (Edward); grandchildren, Jessica, Jennifer, Jacqueline, Madison, and Joseph.
Services will be conducted in Red Bank, New Jersey, at a date to be announced.
