Leslie Eli Philemon, 76, of Ocean Isle Beach, passed away on January 29, 2019.
Born in Chattanooga, TN on March 12, 1942, a son of the late Eli Earl Philemon and Mozel McDonald Philemon. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son Kenneth Philemon.
He was a retired food processor.
Surviving are his wife, Mary Yasher Philemon; sons, George Overy of Ocean Isle Beach, Justin Philemon of Sunset Beach, John Philemon of Ocean Isle Beach; daughters, Leslie Tyson of Adel, GA, Helen Prince of Ocean Isle Beach, Danyell Philemon of Scottsboro, AL.; thirteen grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday, February 1, 2019 at 11:00am in the Brunswick Funeral Service Chapel, Shallotte. Burial will be at 1:00pm Saturday, February 2, 2019 in the Sunset Memory Gardens, Mint Hill, NC.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
