Obituary
Lillian Piver Hewett, 85, of Ash, NC. Died Saturday, November 5, 2016. She was born in Columbus County, NC on January 12, 1931 to the late Radford and Bessie Carlisle Piver.
Lillian was proceeded in death by her loving husband Thomas Earl Hewett and ten brothers and sisters.
Surviving are her children Larry Hewett (Lydia) of Whiteville, NC, Cathy Johnson of Ash, NC, Edwin Hewett (Ronda) of Scottsbluff, NB, James Hewett (Betty) of Exum, NC, Tim Hewett (Carolyn) of Charlotte, NC, Andrea Miller (Clayton) of Fairbluff, NC; fourteen grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; and one great- great grandchild.
Funeral services will be held at Zion Baptist Church in Ash, NC on Thursday, November 10, 2016 at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in the Piver Family Cemetery. A visitation will be held at Brunswick Funeral Service Chapel in Shallotte, NC on Wednesday, November 9, 2016 from 7 to 9 p.m.
