Lillian V. Joy, 97, Shallotte, NC died April 9, 2022.
Born in Alcomdale, Alberta Canada on June 8, 1924, she was a daughter of the late Richard Cust and Domithilde Blanchard Cust. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Oscar Joy.
She was a retired Cosmetologist and an active parishioner at St. Brendan, The Navigator Catholic Church.
Surviving are sons, Rusty Joy, Shallotte, NC, Rick Joy (Terry), Shallotte, NC, and John Joy, Atlanta, GA; daughters, Martha Casper (Michael), Calabash, NC and Jody Hartsell (Eddie), Mt. Ulla, NC; a sister, Jeanette Weich, Canada; eight grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.
A Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, April 28, 2022 at 10:00 AM in St. Brendan, The Navigator Catholic Church. Inurnment will be in the Brunswick Memorial Gardens Columbarium.
