Obituary
Linda Lee Lesniewski, 61, of Shallotte, passed away unexpectedly on July 7, 2021.
Linda was born on May 1, 1960, in Baltimore, MD, to her loving parents, Helen & William.
Linda graduated from Lansdowne High School, class of 1978, and attended business courses at Catonsville Community College, both in the Baltimore area. She had a long and successful career in retail management with many well-known establishments, receiving accolades in her field as a top performer, leader, and coach.
Linda had a deep adoration for the beaches of Ocean Isle and eventually placed roots in Shallotte in a beautiful home overlooking the peaceful marshland and waterway. Anyone who knew Linda could easily speak to her genuine soul, glowing smile, and compassionate giving heart. She loved fiercely and was so deeply loved by many in return. She would do anything for those she cared for and, as an animal lover, this included her many pets over the years. She enjoyed the beach and pool life, live music, humor, entertaining, and spending time with family and friends. She was just an incredible human being and she will be sincerely missed by all.
Linda is preceded in death by her parents, Helen & William; brothers, James & William; husband, Stephen; and several family members and friends.
She is survived by her brother, Michael; nieces, Jamie & her fiancé Florian, Christina & her husband Brian and their children, Jennifer & her husband Rodney and their children; nephews Jan-Michael, Michael and his children, and Tom and his wife Lindsie and their children; sisters-in-law Connie & her husband Henry, Cindy, and Debbie & her husband Tom; and more loving family and friends than one could count or list.
There will be a celebration of life both in Shallotte and Baltimore for family and friends.
Shallotte – Sunday, July 25th at Mulberry Park in Shallotte. Mulberry Community Center, 149 Mulberry Street, Shallotte, NC 28470 from 12pm-3pm for food and gathering.
Mulberry Park Amphitheater, 123 Mulberry Street, Shallotte, NC from 3pm-5pm for live music.
