Linda Martin Bryant

Linda Martin Bryant

Linda Martin Bryant passed away peacefully on August 6 surrounded by her family and close friends.

She was predeceased by her parents, Wilbert and Gladys Martin, and her daughter Sharon Andrea Bryant.

She is survived by her husband of 59 years, George Bryant, son Gregory Bryant and wife Karen, grandsons Adam Bryant and Nathan Bryant, brothers Jesse, Wilbert Jr. and David Martin, sister Kathy Page, many nieces and nephews, and her beloved dog Stanley.

Linda had lived with Parkinson’s disease for the past 10 years. She faced it with dignity, grace and an amazing determination to continue living her life as normally as possible. Her courage was an inspiration to all who knew her.

She was a homemaker and devoted herself to bringing up her children and supporting her husband in his career. Linda was artistic and enjoyed making jewelry, arranging flowers, and decorating for holiday events. She was able to accompany George on many international and domestic trips and enjoyed traveling in their RV.

She attended Generations church and was inspired by the support and assistance she and George received from the staff and friends from the church. We thank our neighbors in Winding River for being there when we needed them. Linda also formed strong friendships with our home caregiver team who made sure her needs were met for the past couple of years. We are also grateful to Susan Byerly for her love and support during this journey.

The family asks that instead of flowers, donations be made to The Michael J Fox Foundation, PO Box 5014, Hagerstown, MD 21741.
